coyote Phil

I was in Borders a few days ago when a mother came in with a little boy who screamed a lot. Every time he screamed, his mother comforted him by hugging him, smiling at him with a big goofy up-close baby smile, and baby-talking to him until he smiled.

I used to think, as a little kid, that parents had to get some training and a license before they could have kids. Maybe that's not such a bad idea.
